What are box partitions used for?
Box partitions are basically just box dividers or separators that protect your items when they’re being shipped. We can provide you with chipboard partitions, SBS partitions, or corrugated partitions to provide you and your products with the safety, stability, and protection you need during shipping.
What is the sampling process?
When a customer requests a new partition, we send a sales representative to discuss their specific needs for the project. Our staff is trained to see the packaging solutions that will best benefit you, by streamlining the packaging process and doing it in the most cost-effective way. If you can, provide your sales rep with a sample of the product you’d like the box partition or chipboard divider for. If you don’t have any available samples, we will ask for the specifications of the product.
We then take the product to our sampling department to be closely analyzed. The first step is to determine the perfect board thickness using factors such as the weight, material type and shape of the product. Once we determine the proper thickness or caliper, we make a cell size that will fit your product perfectly and provide protection from all sides and the top of the package. Then we design the box partition as 10 cell, 20 cell, 100 cell, etc. depending on how many of each product you request in a box. Our samples will be ready to be sent or taken to the customer within 24 hours.
